Mariah Carey sings for Intel
Intel convinced Mariah Carey to pose and sing for its latest Centrino advertising campaign.
The singer, who has been nominated for eight Grammy awards, appears in print ads and TV commercial that highlight the wireless entertainment capability of today’s notebook computers.
The first commercial is scheduled to air during the Grammy awards. Before Carey, Intel contracted John Cleese, Lucy Liu, Tony Leung, Seal, Tony Hawk and Michael Owen to promote its Centrino devices.

Intel reportedly poured more than $300 million into the original Centrino marketing campaign. Apparently, Intel will allocate a significant portion of the $2.5 billion rebranding budget into Centrino once again.
