Captivate elevates the Internet
Internet junkies will soon have another place to get their fix - in the elevator.
Captivate Network, Inc. of Westford, Mass. is equipping elevators across the U.S. with Web-linked 10" monitors to provide passengers with continuously updated news blurbs, weather, traffic and sports.
So far, the company has installed the system in 15 different sites in Boston, New York and Chicago, with plans to bring it to most major U.S. cities.
