Capcom Releases Update Via Xbox Live For Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO
One nice thing about being a Xbox Live subscriber is that when a title has a bug (even a small one), developers can sometimes push a patch down to the hard drive of the Xbox with a little effort to address the problem. Does this now give developers an excuse for a sloppy testing cycle?
Capcom released a fix for Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO that only takes a couple of seconds to download and it seems to address a little bug that caused the music to suddenly stop playing after special moves were executed by a player. While it isn't known if the patch fixes any other problems, it does seem to fix this one issue that some have complained about in various forums.
In other news regarding Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO, it appears that cheating is starting to take place in online games. While the descriptions of the types of "cheap shots" and "cheating" seem to vary from forum to forum, we have also started to see a continued trend of people complain about these issues with several of the on line titles, not just Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO.
Recently we took at look at Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO, and we gave it a collective thumbs up. While we have not personally encountered some of the reported issues that are dominating discussion in several forums, it does seem that many players are less than happy with some of the continued results that they have been seeing. Is it "cheap shots" or "cheating"? Only time will tell.
