Over 5.6 Million CoD: Black Ops Copies Sold Day 1
Activision claims Black Ops as “biggest launch in entertainment”
Blowing out of the water box office juggernauts such as "Avatar" and "The Dark Knight" as well as beating Modern Warfare 2's opening sales, Call of Duty: Black Ops was a definite hit on tuesday.
After a huge success with Modern Warfare 2, Activision launched a major ad campaign for Black Ops spreading through gaming websites, television and even billboards. The hype surrounding the game was so massive, that even a group of armed robbers decided it would be a good idea to steal 100 copies.
The excitement for the games launch definitely paid off for Activision as they sold over 5.6 million copies in one day, netting over $360 million dollars.

Single player mode was too short.
I did contirbuted to this
by preordering. Just started to like this game after 12h of multiplayer. Didin't like it at the begigning. UI is rubbish, but breaks betwen matches are nice and short.
Its piss poor. Bring on Battlefield Vietnam.
