Bungie (Finally) Brings Halo to the PC

When a game is ported over to the PC, the results aren't predictable. Halo is a game that started life on the Xbox and became the best selling title for the Xbox platform of all time as well as winning tons of acclaim. This made Halo a game for which many PC gamers have waited a long time. Halo was originally slated by Bungie for the PC, but then Microsoft needed a showcase title for Xbox and realized that Halo was it.
Since Bungie is already hard at work on Halo 2 for the Xbox, Bungie teamed up with experienced developer (and game porting specialist) Gearbox to lead the effort to get this title ready for the PC platform. Needless to say, many including us were really apprehensive about what would happen when/if it was ported.
Well, Halo is now finished and on retailer shelves and the results have exceeded our greatest expectations. Not only does this title retain all the things that made it great on the Xbox, it has some new things that make it even better. So fasten your seatbelts before reading any further; this game has the potential to knock you right out of your seat.
