Buffalo Tech adds 3 for 11g
Buffalo Technology has introduced three additions to their draft-802.11g AirStation 54Mbps product line. The WLI-CB-G54A AirStation 54Mbps Wireless Notebook Adapter with Antenna Interface ($119) is a CardBus wireless adapter sporting an MMX antenna jack for attachment of range-enhancing external antennas. The WLI-PCI-G54 AirStation 54Mbps Wireless PCI Card with an Omni Antenna ($139) also sports an MMX antenna jack and comes bundled with a 2.2dBI omnidirectional antenna.
Finally, the WLA-G54 AirStation 54Mbps Standard Bridge Base Station ($189) is a Wireless Distribution System (WDS) Bridge/Repeater with integrated 4 port 10/100 switch that supports point-to-point and point-to-multipoint bridging and wireless repeating.All prices are suggested list and products will be available in mid-May , except for the PCI card which is available now. BuffaloTech continues to be the only company offering draft-802.11g products with a no-charge upgrade-or-replace guarantee of compatibility with 802.11g released products.
