Buffalo intros extreme wireless LAN card
Buffalo today announced its WLI-CB-G54HP, a PCMCIA Wireless LAN B/G "HighPower" card with a new internal antenna that increases the distance between your PC and the AP by a factor of 1.7. Despite the multiple obstacles that can be situated between the PC and the AP, this card is capable of guaranteeing a minimum transfer rate of 35 Mbps (if the AP is of the same generation than the card of course). Finally, this card supports the WPA (TKIP) and AES security standards.
