BT unveils 100 MB/s broadband
BT Group, the former UK incumbent, is to turn its visitors’ center at BT’s Goonhilly Satellite Earth Station in Cornwall, into one of the world’s fast internet cafes with computers able to download data at speeds of up to 100M B/s.
Although such high speeds are common in countries such as South Korea, this is the first time that the UK has seen such speeds.
