British switchover dates set for commercial DTV
The UK’s many regional independent commercial TV providers now know when they will be expected to complete the transfer from analog to all-digital broadcasts, according to a report appearing on the Web site for the country’s National Grid for Learning. According to the report, the switch will begin by region in 2008, and will be completed in 2012.
