According to several reports, the British military has tested an artillery shell that delivers an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) instead of an explosive charge. According to observers, the NATO standard 155mm howitzer would fire the EMP round capable of destroying all unprotected electronics, including radios, weapon guidance systems, computers, mobile phones, power grids and TV stations.
