Boy gets trapped in handcuffs
An eight year old boy recently had to be rescued from a pair of handcuffs he’d accidentally attached to one wrist.
According to SkyNews the boy was brought into Portsmouth fire station by his grandmother with a set of handcuffs hanging off his wrist. The cuffs in question were described as "hardened steel" and not meant as a toy.
Now, we’ve all been in the situation where we let things slip that we don’t mean to say. There’s that moment where you have to try and wrench your foot out of your mouth. . .sound familiar ?
Anyway, the boys grandmother is certainly no stranger to that feeling. Amidst the usual “I don’t know how he could have possibly got himself stuck. . .” comments she let slip that the boy had found the handcuffs in his mother’s bedroom.
Apparently she then realised what she said and clapped her hand to her mouth.
Telling you, we’ve all been there. Meanwhile, that child will remember that when he grows up. It’s bad enough thinking about your parents like that when you’re a kid without adding handcuffs to the mix.
