Irvine (CA) - Blizzard is working on a sequel to the 1998 classic Starcraft. It says it will pour as much time and money as possible to make it a worthwhile game.
The development studio said it has been working on the game for years, but did not mention any details and when it might be released.
GamesIndustry.biz reports that the game will have several layers to explore, offering a more strategy-intensive experience than was possible nine years ago.
The Protoss, Zerg, and Terrans factions will all make their way to the new installment, which will make its way to the PC...eventually.
