Black Friday notebook sales outpaced desktop PCs for first time in US
PCs made impressive sales gains during the 2005 Black Friday week, which ended November 26, 2005.
The notebook segment led desktop PCs in unit sales for the first time ever during the holiday period, with 52 percent of total PC sales going to the notebook segment, according to Current Analysis.
