Black Friday LCD TV shipments up more than 1000%
Black Friday week, which ended November 26, saw the sales volume for LCD TVs 26"es and larger grow over 1000% from the same period last year, while revenues were up 556%, according to DisplaySearch. The ASP (average selling price) for the 26" and above segments fell to US$1,124 this year, down 41% from US$1,898 in 2004.
