Bill Gates sees spam "under control" in two years
Spam, the junk mail that clogs the in-box of hundreds of millions of e-mail users, could become a thing of the past in around two years’ time, Microsoft chairman Bill Gates (news - web sites) said on a visit to Madrid.
"Spam is a major security problem," said Gates, while noting that progress had been made in the fight against unsolicited mail.
"We hope this problem will be under control within two years," Gates told an internet forum organised by Spanish daily El Mundo.
