BenQ Mobile to showcase DVB-H handset at CeBIT 2006
BenQ Mobile, the handset unit of Taiwan-based BenQ, will showcase its first mobile TV phone supporting DVB-H (digital video broadcasting-handheld) technology at CeBIT 2006 in Hannover, Germany from March 9-15, according to the company. The DVB-H handset was developed by the R&D team of Siemens’ former handset business unit in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Instituted for Integrated Circuits (IIS) of Germany, the sources noted.
