Banias Will Hit The Streets On March 12
The roll out of Intel's new super efficient notebook chip will start on March 12th. Our own Thomas Pabst and Harald Thone put the new chip to the test in our article "The First Pentium-M Notebook Put To The Test" in which Tom and Harald were very positive about the new technology behind Banias. While the first Banias notebooks will not be cheap, it does boast some very slick new technologies that show that Intel is headed in the right direction with their new mobile part.
