Band turns tables on Napster
Members of a punk rock band, Offspring, are openly flaunting their taste for irony by selling unauthorized Napster merchandise from their website. The Southern California musicians have thereby forced Napster to consider whether hiring lawyers to protect their brand name and prevent unapproved distribution of products bearing their intellectual property.
