AUO expects to boost 5G TFT LCD production in 3Q
At a shareholders meeting yesterday, AU Optronics (AUO) disclosed that its fifth-generation (5G) TFT LCD line is processing 15,000-20,000 substrates per month at a yield rate exceeding 50% and the company expects to boost large-size panel production at the line after it begins operations at its 5G color filter (CF) line in September.
