AU Optronics begins trial production at Suzhou TFT LCD module factory
AU Optronics (AUO) has begun trial production at its Suzhou, Jiangsu Province-based TFT LCD module factory, which has a 300,000-unit monthly assembly capacity initially and will be expanded to 500,000 units by the end of this year and further to 700,000 units next year. AUO plans to ship one million TFT LCD modules from its Suzhou plant this year.
