ATI to launch X800 GT as new flagship graphics chip
Before the arrival of its R520 and R580 flagship chips, ATI Technologies plans to introduce the Radeon X800 GT graphics processing unit (GPU) for the high-end market, according to sources at graphics card makers. However, the Radeon X800 GT will not feature support for ATI’s CrossFire dual-cards graphics solutions and will be on the lower end of its Radeon X800 family, the sources indicated.
