ATI swings to profit
ATI swung to a profit in the third quarter after posting a loss in the same period a year earlier, thanks to improvements in the PC market and higher demand for the company's related products. "The results, combined with the firm's optimistic outlook, helped drive the stock up nearly 14 per cent in morning trading. In Toronto, ATI shares were up $1.58 to $13.18 just before 11 a.m. EDT" .
