ATI preps for Rage 6 rollout
ATI will unveil its next-generation, high-end 3D graphics chip later this month, according to The Register.
Scheduled for launch April 24, the Rage 6 will include several new technologies introduced at last month's Game Developer Forum, including the Charisma Engine transform and lighting system and Pixel Tapestry Architecture.
The rollout will take place the day before rival Nvidia is expected to launch the successor to its popular GeForce 256.
