ATi overhauls Nvidia in share of graphics market
Nvidia’s recent loss of market share has caused it to slip behind ATi in the graphics market swaggering stakes, according to figures from Mercury Research unleashed on Monday. "The company fell into third place in the graphics chip market, while rival ATi swam to second place with a 24.9% wedge. Nvidia can claim 24.7%, just 0.2% behind ATi but enough to sink it down to third place. Intel, of course, is still king of the hill, with its 31.7%, but that too is down by 3.2%."
