ATI notebook chipsets to support AMD Turion 64 X2
ATI Technologies on May 17 introduced its new Radeon Xpress 1100 series of chipsets to support AMD’s Turion 64 X2 mobile technology notebook processors. ATI stressed the graphics capabilities of the new chipsets, which include a faster graphics core and support for Microsoft Windows Vista graphics, while also indicating that the new chipsets are designed to extend notebook battery life.
