No job cuts at ATI says AMD
IN THE FACE OF claims to the contrary, AMD Chief Technology Officer Phil Hester told The Inquirer that he knew of no job cuts looming since AMD’s acquisition of ATI.
He said he had no idea where such stories could have come from. The two sections are to remain autonomous enough as to require keeping on all the existing staff, he said, as AMD finally, and completely, swallowed ATI this morning.
