Atheros Products Receive First Wi-Fi 802.11g Certification
Following this morning's announcement from the Wi-Fi Alliance that the first round of products based on the IEEE 802.11g standard amendment have successfully completed Wi-Fi certification testing, Atheros announced that the Atheros universal 802.11a/b/g wireless network adapter and the Proxim ORiNOCO 802.11g access point based on Atheros technology are included in the first group of products to have received the Wi-FiO CERTIFIED seal of interoperability.
