AT&T Wireless and Microsoft Announce Wireless Merger
Two corporate heavyweights, AT&T Wireless and Microsoft Corporation, both based in Redmond, Washington, have announced a partnership that will offer business customers expanded wireless services for accessing their business information. Microsoft's PocketPC Phone Edition software will form the backbone of the expanded wireless offerings, and AT&T Wireless's communications network will enable users to access their business email, calendar information, and other company related data from their portable hand held devices, such as cell phones.
