Wistron and Asustek to see highest shipment growth among Top 5 Taiwan notebook makers
Of Taiwan’s top-five notebook makers, Asustek and Wistron are expected to see the strongest growth this year, Taiwan-based market research firm Topology Research noted.
Asustek’s intention of spinning off its manufacturing division will help it grab new notebook orders from Dell and Hewlett-Packard (HP), whereas Wistron may enjoy an on-year shipment jump of 50% on more orders from Dell, the research firm predicts.
