Ask.com offers more secure searches for users
Search engine, Ask.com, has launched a privacy tool, which they hope will convince users that their information is safe and therefore encourage more people to use the site.
AskErase allows users to wipe their search information from the Ask server. It promises to erase the query or search from the server along with the user’s IP address, user ID and session ID. Having said that, it doesn’t completely cover your tracks as any search relating to ads supplied by Google will still be passed on to the rival search engine.
Ask no doubt saw the potential in offering users a more secure search engine with regard to their details as there has been some controversy with regard to peoples’ information over the proposed partnership between Google and Ad
