Ask Jeeves to buy Interactive Search
Ask Jeeves says it will buy Interactive Search Holdingsfor about $343 million to bolster its presence in the fast-growing Internet search-engine market. Terms of the deal call for Emeryville, California-based Ask Jeeves to issue 9.3 million shares of common stock and options and pay $150 million in cash for the privately held company.
