Asia pays premium for AMD CPUs
The Inquirer reports that prices for Advanced Micro Devices chips are higher in Asia than in the US and Europe. As a result, Asian OEMs are purchasing "gray market AMD chips from Western dealers relatively far down the distribution chain.
