Design And Finish
Samsung, like Philips, uses all plastic. But all plastics are not created equal. The ones used in the Samsung LN-R328W are of very high quality. The black-lacquer finish is very classy, though you'll have to take care not to scratch it.
Ergonomics
The ergonomics are very good. The remote control is simple and effective. The on-screen display lets you find what you need quickly.
Connectivity
With its HD-Ready Label, the LN-R328W naturally has a YUV connector, but also digital connectivity in the form of HDMI. VGA is available for connecting a PC. Obviously there are additional connectors such as cinch and S-Video.
