Fujitsu-Siemens Scaleoview T17-2

It's been a long time since we tested a Fujitsu-Siemens screen. In the last few months, this manufacturer has decided to come back in force with a large range of devices from which we're testing today one of its 17" offerings: the T17-2. This monitor is also unavailable in North America.

Design
The T17-2 is a fairly low-key design. The plastics are of average quality but the whole thing is carefully assembled. Yet, the T17-2 isn't really in the same league as the ASUS PM17T-S, as you will see. The stand, in particular, is lacking in stability. As a result, inclination adjustment is difficult. Still, for the published price, we probably shouldn't expect better.
Ergonomics
Ergonomically, the device is pleasant. The OSD is clear and legible but the range of inclination adjustment is limited and above all you have to pick up the stand whenever you want to adjust the angle. That's just messy.
Equipment

The T17-2's equipment is basic for this range. Here we get just one VGA input and an external transformer - that's it.
