Apple begins selling LED-backlight MacBook Pro
Apple has begun selling its new MacBook Pro notebooks, including the 15" model with a LED-backlight display, in the Taiwan market, with market sources projecting the company also likely to introduce 13.3" LED-backlight models in the second half of the year.Apple is the first US-based vendor to launch notebooks with LED-backlight displays following the lead initiated by the Japanese vendors, including Sony and Fujitsu and followed by Taiwan-based Asustek Computer, according to market sources.
