Apple patents zooming controller and lighted keyboards
The Mac Observer reports about more Apple patent filings. Particularly interesting is a "zooming controller" describing the feature of the zoom/slider mechanism used in iPhoto. Also, Apple filed a patent application for "Apparatuses and methods for illuminating a keyboard" on November 19, 2002, which was issued by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) as US Patent on August 17, 2004.
