Apple may move 17" PowerBook production to Quanta
Apple Computer may shift the production of the 17" PowerBook from current contractor Compal Electronics to Quanta Computer in the first quarter of next year at the earliest, as Apple and Compal have not been able to agree on certain cost-sharing issues, according to sources.
