by

Integration of the iPod Mini in a VW Golf V - the new iPod Nano or the "large" iPod can be accommodated equally well in a vehicle.

Apple has achieved cult status with its iPod MP3 players, and by clever marketing has been able to ensure their integration in different vehicle types. According to information given out by the firm, 22 million of these portable devices have been sold so far. Apple plans for 30 percent of all autos sold in the US to offer the possibility of playing music with iPods. German auto manufacturers such as Audi, VW, BMW and Mercedes-Benz in particular, are playing a leading role here.
