Apple gets a Grammy
So, the transformation of Apple from a computer company into a boomer's accessory store is complete. Tonight, according to Maccentral the
National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences will give Apple a Technical Grammy Award for outstanding technical contributions to the music industry and recording field. This is a first for a former computer company and the achievement ranks right up there with the Best Polka award for Jimmy Sturr in 2001, and the 1975 Grammy for Record of the Year to Captain and Tennille for
"Love Will Keep Us Together." Steve Jobs will be dueting with Weird Al Yankovich on a special version of "It's All About the Pentiums."
