Apple curing laptop battery woes with software update
Cupertino (CA) - Apple has announced a software update that should help MacBook and MacBook Pro owners with some battery problems. Apple is urging laptop owners who are experiencing low or not charging batteries to download the update.
Apple owners can download the update here . The update affects laptops purchased from February 2006 to April 2007. Apple says the performance issues "do not present a safety risk."
Laptop owners who continue to have problems after installing the update should bring their batteries to the nearest Apple store or authorized service center.
