Apple cuts prices on laptops
Apple has recently announced price cuts on its popular PowerBook range of notebook computers, slashing prices by as much as $US300. "The 12" PowerBook now starts at $1,599, lower by $200, and the 15" PowerBook now starts at $1,999, down as much as $300 depending on configuration" . The compact, lightweight design of these notebooks make them ideal for travellers, however, the fact that they are based on Apple hardware may put gamers off somewhat.
