Reports: Apple to launch movie store, new iPods and Core 2 Duo iMacs next week
The internet is abuzz with the rumours that Apple is to launch its new, higher-capacity iPod Nano’s, a movie download service to compliment iTunes and Core 2 Duo based-iMacs on Tuesday September 12.
Apple is setting up simulcast satellite broadcast press conferences for the press on September 12, and while we’re not expecting to see a new widescreen iPod, with the iPod update being more of a memory expansion for the Nano, the much anticipated movie service is expected to be the centrepiece of the presentation. $15 for new movies, $10 for old ones ? I can live with that.
Apple heads can mark the date on their calendar and begin salivating (more than usual) nnnnnnnnnow.
