The latest wonder machine from AOpen is not a motherboard or a new barebones, but an audio and video player for the consumer sector. In addition to its image viewing capabilities using multimedia memory cards (SD/MMC/MS/SM/CF), the systems allows for MP3 audio and video file play with a USB 2.0 connection to a hard drive. Although the hard drive is not included with the device, the device comes with a hard-drive case which can hold any 2.5" or 1.8" notebook drive.
For playback, the drive is stuck into the slot of the MVP Player without the cable and the MVP then reads the multimedia files for playback. Files on the first partition of the hard drive or on the memory cards are automatically displayed as thumbnails on the connected television or VGA monitor.

Multimedia memory cards are inserted on the front panel. The hard drive is in the "tower".
