Anti-spam, digital signature laws move forward

A U.S. House of Representatives committee has approved a bill that would impose severe restrictions on spam.

If passed by the full Congress, the Unsolicited Electronic Email Act would force marketers sending junk email to include a valid reply address, stop spamming on request, and require that spam be labeled as spam.
