MSI Vega 56 airboost vs Galax 1070Ti vs ZOTAC mini 1070Ti

Just now got an offer between these 3 cards where the price different is very low. Which 1 should I go with? Note that my CPU will be Ryzen 5 2600. Thanks..

  1. I am unfamiliar with the Galax models, but the Zotac I am told tends to be a bit loud.

The Vega56 tends to draw more power, is hot, and loud as well.

The 1070Ti will generally outperform the Vega56, though maybe not by a huge amount.

HOWEVER - the important questions are:
1 - What is the manufacturer and model of your PSU?

2 - What is the resolution and refresh rate of your monitor, AND, does it have FreeSync, GSync, or neither?

    1. super flower silver eco 600w
    2. Currently neither, but thinking of going freesync for an upgrade.
  3. 1 - I don't know enough about Super Flower to say if that's a good PSU or not.

2 - If you are considering an upgrade soon, then it is best to think of the new GPU and new monitor together - what resolution you want, size, etc. A GSync monitor is typically significantly more expensive than the same size/style/type of FreeSync monitor, so that is a consideration. On the other hand, as of now, Nvidia GPUs are far more power efficient for the performance they give you. Until recently, AMD Vega GPUs were also more expensive for the performance you'd get from them, but there are some good deals these days.
  4. Thank You for the feedback and insight. Previously I never considered these 2 cards for my build, but pass few days GPU price in my country show improvement trend making these cards a little affordable. Will consider on the monitor upgrade option and might go with team red for the freesync.
