CPU 100°C Assassins Creed Origins

Using a stock cooler and unfortunately I have no money left for an aftermarket cooler,cpu temp hovers 100c while playing this particular game ACO!Is this normal? Ventilation is fine.Cpu -i74790.

  1. Nope that's too hot, I'm actually surprised the system isn't shutting down to prevent damage. If you live in the US I may have a cheap cooler laying around that's supports that socket.
  2. Have you followed usual process and reseated the cooler with fresh paste?

    100 is bad, almost shutdown temp. The stock cooler should be fine, the only way it would get THAT hot is if it was solidly filled with dust or the fan has completely failed. Check that first.

    What do you mean by "everything ok"?

    If your cooler is clean and fan spinning then its not working right, buy a new one and install it properly.
