Cpu/Gpu Compatibility will new gpu work with current cpu

Planning to upgrade my gpu to a GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1060 DirectX 12 GV-N1060WF2OC-3GD 3GB 192-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 ATX Video Card. And was wondering if my current cpu will allow my new gpu to work how it is supposed to. My current cpu is AMD FX-6300 Six Core Processor 3.50 GHz. If I should upgrade my cpu what would be recommended for this gpu that isnt too expensive. Thank you!

There's most probably be some bottleneck by CPU, slightly better processor like FX 6350 or FX 8350 with some overclock would help but that also depends on quality of your MB.
