M.2 SSD Samsung 960 pro - Very Slow speeds

Hello, I've been trying to get my SSD to work at high speeds, but i cannot seem to figure out how.

My motherboard is Z2070F Asus Rog
i7700k
16gb 2400hz ram tridenZ
gtx 1080

The speeds are suppose to be at 3500 - 2100

However i get around 700 - 150

How do i go about this in the bios settings? i updated the drivers, downloaded magician and optimized.

I loaded the optimized deafults in the bios aswell.

What else do i do?

  1. Are you on the latest BIOS revision for your board? Which slot have you populated the drive in?

Your MB will have BIOS options for allowing/allocating full PCI-e X4 bandwidth for a given M.2 slot, likely disabling a pair of SATA ports, or, sharing bandwidth with M.2 possibly running at half peak speed...(I'd look very hard in the BIOS to make sure any potential 'SATA/NVME' options are set to NVME for a given M.2 slot, if applicable

(This assumes, of course, that all chipset drivers are also installed correctly)
