A better graphics card or a better processor?

So I can either get:

Ryzen 7 1800X paired with an Asus ROG Strix GTX 1060 06G

or

Ryzen 5 1600x paired with an Asus Dual GTX 1070 08G.

I really can't decide.I kinda want to have a 60% gaming and a 40% content creation PC.
I am aware that if i go with the ryzen 5 option,it will be better for gaming, but at the same time I guess the ryzen 7 will do a lot better rendering and editing, and the gtx 1060 will still do the job.

  1. If you have 1080p monitor, go for first option. Otherwise might be tough call.
  2. I have an asus 1920x1080 27 inch monitor which i bought for 300 bucks. It's an awesome monitor, but how does this monitor relate to the decision of which of those 2 options I should take?
  3. Because on 1080p monitor in most games you will not feel any difference between 1060 and better card.
  4. Well, idk I will be playing games like PUBG,League of legends,I will probably stream on twitch or youtube, what do you think is the best?
  5. Pretty easy for me, GTX-1070, if gaming is the main reazon of existence of the pc.
  6. Yeah, but will the ryzen 5 perform as good as ryzen 7?

once they are both overclocked, yes

PUBG does not do well with either so they will behave the same

i7 8700k + gtx 1060 would be ideal since you value gaming more

it is also superior in every metric especially once overclocked as ryzen has poor OC overhead in comparison
  8. Well as much as i've read the Ryzens are ideal for mix od gaming, rendering, editing etc.
