Custom PC turns on but no signal to monitor

My motherboard: MSI Gaming Z270 M3
CPU: Intel Core i7-7700
GPU: Asus Rog Strix 1070
RAM: Ballistix Sport DDR4 16GB

The PC turns on but there's no signal to my monitor. When i power it on a RED light on my motherboard lights up and it says DRAM under it.

Which i guess means theres something wrong with my ram.. any fixes?

  1. If you hace 2 sticks try one stick at a time in each slot.
You could also need to reseat the CPU or could be a bad board.

  2. First, take out the GPU and hook up the monitor to the mobo video. Put one RAM stick in. Then, do a cmos reset of the mobo. Now try powering up.
